TOKEN2049 Dubai Postponed to April 2027

Madinat Jumeirah conference venue in Dubai for TOKEN2049 event

Regional Uncertainty Prompts Event Rescheduling

TOKEN2049 Dubai, a major global cryptocurrency conference, has been officially postponed from its scheduled dates of April 29–30, 2026, to April 21–22, 2027. Organizers cited ongoing geopolitical uncertainty in the Middle East as the primary driver for the decision, affecting safety, international travel, and regional logistics.

Despite the postponement, organizers noted that preparations for the 2026 event were well-advanced, with registration data indicating a potential sell-out crowd of 15,000 attendees. The decision to move the event was made in collaboration with partners and stakeholders to ensure the quality and safety of the international digital asset community.

Impact on Tickets and Venue

The 2027 edition is confirmed to take place at Madinat Jumeirah. Organizers emphasized that Dubai remains a premier global hub for the digital asset industry and expressed confidence in the rescheduled event’s success. Regarding existing commitments, the following protocols have been established:

  • Ticket Validity: All tickets purchased for the 2026 Dubai event will automatically remain valid for the new 2027 dates.
  • Singapore Transfer: Ticket holders have the option to transfer their passes to TOKEN2049 Singapore, scheduled for October 7–8, 2026, at Marina Bay Sands.
  • Sponsorships: Sponsors and partners are being contacted individually to roll over their commitments to the new dates.

Logistical Adjustments

Attendees who have already secured travel and accommodation are advised to contact airlines and hotels directly to manage booking changes. The postponement reflects a broader trend of geopolitical developments influencing major industry conferences and infrastructure within the region. The next event in the global series will proceed as planned in Singapore this October.
