Arada Selects Main Contractor for W Residences
Arada has appointed Engineering Contracting Co. (LLC) as the main contractor for the W Residences at Dubai Harbour. The contract, valued at AED1.55 billion, covers the construction of three towers in this luxury waterfront project.
Early Construction Phases Underway
Initial construction activities, including excavation and piling, have commenced following a separate AED51 million contract awarded to APCC Piling & Marine Contracting. The development will comprise 490 branded residences and a range of premium amenities.
Project Highlights and Features
The W Residences, operated by Marriott International, will include a 40-storey LEED Silver-certified building featuring the longest infinity pool in Dubai, a 40,000-square-foot fitness center, and various luxury amenities. The project is designed to offer marina living with views of the Arabian Gulf and Dubai’s skyline.

Ahmed Alkhoshaibi, Group CEO of Arada, emphasized the significance of this milestone, highlighting the project’s architectural design and its integration with the surrounding environment. The project is part of the Dubai Harbour master plan, developed by Shamal Holding, which includes dining, retail, and hospitality experiences.
